What is sustainable development? All international policies seek prosperity in various areas and global sustainability. Sustainable development is the most important policy adopted by global regimes, as the world has come to the conclusion that sustainable development is the best solution for meeting human needs in the present and the future. Sustainable plans have proved to be the main guarantor of future nations’ rights to energy and natural resources, with a view to providing them with a decent life. In this article, we will answer the question of whether God wishes.

The concept of sustainable development.

The meaning of development:

It is a process of ongoing comprehensive economic, social and political development aimed at achieving continuous progress in the lives and well-being of individuals.

Sustainability concept

Linguistically means the durability, tenacity, and consonance of the thing, which is to ensure that consumption is not reduced over time, its flow, and the realization of the public good over a long period.

Concept of sustainable development:

The Webster Dictionary defines it as a development that uses natural resources without allowing them to be depleted or destroyed in part or in whole, with the need to rationalize their use.
The World Conservation Union (IUCN) defined sustainable development as “development that takes into account the environment, society, and the economy”

Sustainable development was defined as “the need to achieve the right to development, where development goals are equally achieved in the development and environmental needs of present and future generations. Sustainable development must not be achieved in isolation from environmental protection. “

Through the concepts of sustainable development to which we have come, we conclude that the meaning of sustainable or sustainable development, as translated by several dictionaries of development, seeks to balance the ecosystem, economic and social, and contributes to maximizing the growth objectives of all those systems. Sustainable development is also defined as a long-term, inclusive process whose main objective is to serve humanity and satisfy the requirements of future generations so that natural resources cannot be compromised if they are not renewable and, in the case of renewable sources, their consumption must be rationalized. These resources must be exploited in an appropriate manner that does not lead to an environmental deficit, given the relationship between environment and sustainable development, which leads to the development of green and environmentally friendly technology. It’s all part of a political act that has the advantage of being involved and making decisions.

Characteristics of sustainable development

Through the concept of sustainable development, we conclude the following characteristics:

  • Sustainable development has a vision of bringing about sustainable changes in all spheres of life, increasing the real income of individuals, and eradicating poverty.
  • Conservation of natural energy resources, both renewable and non-renewable, through rational exploitation.
  • Activating the concept of social justice among social groups.
  • Sustainable development has the meaning of ongoing and future development, which means meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the needs of the future generation.
  • It is a comprehensive development and shared responsibility.
  • The concept of sustainable development is global in various political, economic, and cultural references and studies that have contributed to the inclusion of a concept embodying sustainable development.
  • Sustainable development is a multidimensional concept, including environmental, social, and economic. They are all intertwined and interwoven in a close, informed, and orderly interactive relationship and make sure that the share of natural resources of future generations is not compromised as well.
  • Sustainable development has goals to pursue through effective mechanisms and principles for achieving those goals.

The evolution of the concept of renewable energy today has seen terrible progress, making it usable in many aspects of life. Renewable energies can contribute to sustainable development by:
Enhancing the energy supply to the population. Renewable energies can meet the needs of people in rural areas at an appropriate cost. It also contributes to strengthening energy supply capacity, improving social conditions and improving education and health care, especially for children and women.
Diversification of energy sources: Renewable energy uses can be developed to contribute gradually to energy supply and diversification of different sectors, and can be exported over time, as a result of which the stock of traditional energy sources such as gas and oil will be longer lived.

Combating poverty and improving living conditions by providing electricity and pumping drinking water can be the cause of changes in the situation of people in rural and urban areas by improving the quality of services available.
Reducing the environmental impacts of the energy sector, particularly greenhouse gas emissions, as it does not produce environmental pollution of renewable energy resources.

Global Sustainable Development Agenda.

The Sustainable Development Agenda, adopted by the United Nations and committed by all Member States to work towards its achievement by 2030, is an effective lobbying tool to drive policymakers to implement programs related to sustainable development. The sustainable plan focuses on five key elements: people; the planet; prosperity; peace; and partnership. The plan covered several issues such as security, peace, and democratic practices. But rising inequality, increasing poor and unemployed people, spending money on armaments, and investment that causes natural pollution are all challenges facing humanity in various parts of the earth. This leads the Party concerned to make a sustainable decision to reconsider the issue of structural and structural issues and not to deal only with results and phenomena. A deep understanding of the nature and effective causes of those challenges is reflected in the mechanisms and rates of action to resolve the problem of impeding sustainable development. Real change takes place on the basis of a thoughtful vision based on knowledge, knowledge, and education.

The main objectives of sustainable development in the agenda of the United Nations seek the realization of human rights and must be respected by all States and peoples. The Plan emphasizes that this goal is inclusive of present and future generations. All people have the right to enjoy the rights associated with sustainable development.

There are a number of other needs necessary to achieve sustainable development goals, including ensuring freedom of expression and association and the participation of disadvantaged persons. This is a crucial means of promoting the idea of more inclusive societies, provided that civil society is protected and the environment is not damaged.

Obstacles to sustainable development

  • leniency in protecting the environment and being pressured by industrial companies that weaken sustainable development and environmental conservation practices.
  • rampant consumption and failure to cope with the environment. This increases the accumulation of waste and exceeds the consumption of natural resources.
  • the degradation of consumer culture, the preservation of the environment, and the participation of individuals in the sustainable development of present generations.
  • Cross-border export of industries without examining their relevance to the climate of importing countries.
  • Rapid gains have come to dominate development processes. Sustainable development has become business deals.
  • Politicizing sustainable development, where political interests have dominated the interests of sustainable development and development projects are being used within a political sphere.

Planet Earth is our common home. To achieve a sustainable future is the overarching endeavor of countries and societies alike over the different generations present.
